ABOUT US
Moorabool Ridge is nestled within a valley cradled by the Moorabool River, our vineyard thrives on the rich red loam soil, a legacy of millennia. This unique microclimate, set in the cool confines of the Geelong region, creates perfect conditions for grape ripening. Spanning just over 14 acres, our vineyard cultivates a diverse selection of six grape varieties such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Semillon.
Our land is part of the ancient Moorabool Valley, a testament to the river's enduring influence, weaving together limestone, sand, and loam over countless years. This extraordinary setting and climate enable us to achieve ripeness in our grapes that might elude others in this cooler climate, setting our wines apart.
