THE OPPORTUNITY
The primary responsibility of the Viral Line Lead is the effective planning & execution of the operational requirements and growth strategies of the Cell Culture and Viral Antigen Production.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
Lead & model company leadership & inclusive behaviours
Oversight of daily operations of the cell culture and viral antigen production areas.
Timely preparation and distribution of operational reporting
Effectively communicate plans, metrics, mitigation issues and recovery plans to the team
Apply MPS tools to lead & support issue mitigation, management & recovery.
Drive operational efficiency and ensure targets are met.
Support strategies for growth and technical process advancement for the cell culture and viral antigen manufacture.
Build a positive and collaborative team culture that energises, engages & empowers.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualifications or industry experience.
Solid 5+ years' work experience in a regulated and or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of GMP and quality systems.
Strong verbal and written communication, coaching, organisation and teamwork skills
Sound understanding of aseptic processes and GMP behaviours.
Demonstrated experience on process standardisation and continuous process improvements.
Ability to establish strong working relationships and provide supportive leadership to their team.
Demonstrated leadership ability and aptitude to train and utilise workers in a multi-faceted environment.
An ability or willingness to develop data analysis skill sets to drive digital capabilities/solutions.
Sound understanding of EHS risk escalation, investigation & mitigation processes.
Ability to work cross functionally with other teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
