Position: Production Lead
Location: Seaford, Victoria
Reports to: Production Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight:
- Participate in daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of medical cannabis products.
- Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance.
- Ensure team members complete production tasks.
Team Leadership:
- Lead production teams to achieve set targets, ensuring adherence to SOPs, GMPs, and other quality standards.
- Conduct team meetings, offering feedback and facilitating continuous improvement.
Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
- Independently diagnose and rectify production challenges, optimizing processes and reducing downtimes.
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas of improvement in the production process, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Safety & Environmental Compliance:
- Prioritize and uphold the safety standards and protocols in the production facility.
- Ensure compliance with all production standard operating procedures.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate production records, including batch records, equipment logs, and other relevant documents.
- Provide regular production updates to the management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Completing accurate and reliable counts of all materials and finished products
Qualifications:
- Strong independent working abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in using production-related tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
