Visitor Services Guide
- Salary $65,811.17 - $76,341.17 p/a + super (pro-rata)
- Permanent Part time role - 21 hours per week
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- Experience and passion for environmental education
- Help to deliver environmental education activities such as bush birthday parties, school excursions, school holiday activities and workshops
- Assist in program development of environmental education activities and responding to public enquiries
- Help maintain outdoor facilities, education resources and natural areas at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden
- Assist with care of captive native fauna
- Assist with visitor orientation and public liaison including Visitor Centre operations
- Assist with venue hire including setup and cleaning as well as Council events
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a related discipline such as
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check
- In-depth knowledge of native flora, fauna and ecosystems
- Experience and ability in environmental education and interpretation with children and adults
- High level customer service skills
- 21 hour working week
- Up to $100 yearly Health & Fitness reimbursement (conditional)
