Job DescriptionJoin Beaconhills College in 2024!We are seeking a Visual Art and Textiles Assistant to join our team at Beaconhills College Pakenham Campus.This is a part time, permanent position, commencing 15 July 2024.The hours of work for this role is 8:00am to 4:21pm each Monday, Thursday and Friday. Please note there is some scope to negotiate the days of work.This position is term time only and means you will enjoy 13 weeks of school holidays each year, including a 3 week mid year break.The annual part time (3 days per week) salary for this role ranges from $34,080 to $37,950 and is already adjusted to include all school holidays.Our ideal candidate will have experience in the fields of Art and/or Textiles, along with a background in working within an educational setting. This position requires a current Working with Children Check and a police check.Key duties

• Preparation of equipment and materials for classes
• Assist teachers with general classroom duties, especially during the set-up and clean-up phase of the lesson.
• Employ safe storage of Visual Art and Textiles equipment and materials in accordance with regulations
• Liaise with teaching staff on their needs for practical work, and maintain an efficient system for use for allocation of materials and equipment
• Support the Visual Arts and Textiles team in the curation and exhibiting of students work in the gallery and around the College
