Role Description/Criteria
The successful applicant will:
• Teach the Visual Arts program according to the Victorian Curriculum
• Promote Visual Arts in the school and to the wider community, including a bi-annual Art Show
• Promote contemporary and innovative practices with a particular focus in the area of Visual Arts
• Plan and implement a highly structured program in the Visual Arts
• Oversee the Visual Arts budget in accordance with school guidelines
• Organise systematic assessment and reporting of student’s Visual Arts skill development
• Develop and maintain positive, caring relationships with students, staff and parents
• Require excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Require a strong commitment to the Catholic Identity of the school
• Cater for a range of student needs through differentiation
• Provide holistic, challenging and engaging learning experiences

• VIT registration
• Complete the attached employment form
