POSITION: Vocational Education Teacher
FULL-TIME POSITION (38-40 HOURS WEEK)
SALARY: $70K - $80K per annum + Super
Site Institute specialises in Technical Engineering, Civil Construction Design, & Construction Trade courses and has a strong reputation for quality outcomes and skilled graduates.
We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified Vocational Education Teachers in technical engineering and civil construction design to join our team in Southport – Gold Coast.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Classroom and workshop-based face-to-face training and assessment;
Marking student work and providing feedback;
Maintaining records of student attendance, participation and progress;
Contributing to the development of programs and materials;
Participating in moderation and validation;
Providing ongoing support to learners.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply;
At least a Diploma in technical engineering and civil construction design;
Minimum TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
Minimum two years of training and assessment experience;
Minimum of three years of engineering experience is a plus;
Must enjoy teaching/training: passing on knowledge, skills & experience;
Skilled and experienced with AutoCAD;
Comfortable using technology to train and assess;
Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.
DESIRABLE:
Experience using SPACE GASS and 12D models;
Experience training domestic and international learners
Australian citizenship or permanent resident
