Job description

You are an experienced Volunteer Manager (or similar), and you are a people person with a passion for making a real difference to the lives of others. You are no stranger to building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and your written and verbal communication skills are impeccable. You are committed to providing a high level of customer service, and your interpersonal skills are second to none.

You are familiar with recruitment, communication and training, and you have a strong ability to prioritise, multitask and manage your own workload, while being flexible to ensure business needs are met. With the responsibility of developing our Volunteer Program from the ground up, creativity comes naturally to you, and you are experienced in framework development, Volunteer communications, including social media posts and newsletters.

As the Volunteer Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor Whiddons Volunteer Framework, along with supporting the development and implementation of new modules and improvements in our systems, relevant to your role. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring Whiddons Volunteer policies, processes and practices are developed and regularly reviewed, to ensure they meet business and legal requirements.

You will also come with demonstrated experience in the development of strategies and resources for program promotion to attract and retain new volunteers, along with the ability to evaluate, analyse and make recommendations for improvements to the Volunteer Program. In addition, the Volunteer Manager will work closely with the Talent and People and Culture teams, to support initiatives in this space.

We're hoping that you will join our team located in Glenfield, on a permanent full time basis.
