As we head into our next philanthropic campaign, we have an exciting new opportunity in our Campaigns team for a Campaign Volunteers and Projects Manager.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a new team member who will lead the planning and implementation of our University’s Comprehensive Campaign volunteer framework. The role will focus on facilitating strategic and meaningful engagement with the Campaign’s volunteer leaders, stewarding their relationship with the University and enabling their support for the Campaign’s fundraising and engagement goals.

  • has experience providing insights and guidance about industry trends and best practice strategies in volunteer management and stewardship

  • is an ideas person and can create and implement bespoke volunteer engagement plans

  • is an outstanding communicator – you love communicating both verbally and using the written word

  • has experience effectively working in partnership with diverse and complex stakeholders groups, including senior and influential leaders, to enable successful outcomes

  • has exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritise and work within often very tight deadlines

  • is comfortable facilitating engagement of small groups

  • confidently engages with senior leaders and can influence with ease

  • is a true team player, able to collaborate with colleagues across the wider Portfolio

  • has experience working with boards and committees or volunteers

  • has demonstrated project management experience
