Our local Perth branch is growing and requires an experienced manager to lead the team and business to the next phase of growth, this is a dynamic role where your strong leadership and knowledge in Sales, Operations, Transport & Logistics will contribute directly to the success of the local branch and nationally. Job Description

As the WA Manager you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing service and KPI’s across multiple departments Fleet/Warehouse/Transport & Major accounts.
• Supporting the Sales and Account teams to ensure service and resources meet customer demands.
• Ensure safety first culture including COR obligations and practices are enforced across the business.
• Proactive communication and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to solve Logistic, customer or financial matters to ensure positive outcome for both Bonds and customer.
• Finding and implementing operational change where efficiencies can be found. Continuous Improvement/ Lean etc
• Support new business/contracts from tender process through to final implementation.
• Recruitment of Perth based personnel to ensure adequate business resourcing including ramp up for new contracts & volume demand.
• Project Management of any new systems, training, or activities to be deployed for the branch or new client/contracts.
• Financial management weekly of operating costs, equipment, facilities including driver costs (wages)

Key Attributes

• Minimum 3 years, experience in a similar position inclusive of extensive Sales background
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Senior management experience in a medium to large business.
• In-depth Transport and Logistics background beneficial especially road freight.
• Great customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good PC skills including reporting, contract review and data analysis.
• Can do positive attitude with strong leadership skills.
