Experienced FULL TIME Wall and Floor Tilers (marble & stone experience essential) – more than one position

Salary: $70,000 - $75000

The Wall and Floor Tiler must have the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment and will:

• Prepare floor and wall surfaces for the laying of tiles.  This will involve cleaning surfaces, removing old tiles and grout and making surfaces smooth and ready for new tiles.

• Organise work by studying plans, taking measurements and marking surfaces to minimise risks of any errors.

• Place tiles accurately avoiding unnecessary breakages when cutting

• Use appropriate skills and specialised knowledge when laying terrazzo and stone floors.

• Ensure all excess grout is removed and Floors and walls are left clean

• Clean equipment and work areas when finished.

Essential Skills the incumbent must have:

• Demonstrated Experience in laying terrazzo and stone

• Demonstrated Experience in laying slate, marble and glass tiles

• Demonstrated Experience in laying mosaic tiles

• Demonstrated Experience in waterproofing

• Good communication skills

• Fit, strong and energetic

• Self-motivated

• A team worker / also capable of working autonomously

• Able to work well with co-workers, contractors and clients

• Ability to understand the Customer's needs
