ABOUT THE POSITION:
Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane team at our spectacular Kangaroo Point location. We have an exciting opportunity available for an efficient and customer-focused Ward Clerk to join our administration team on a permanent full-time basis. You will be working within the Palliative Care Ward, Mon-Fri, assisting with all clerical related duties.
A snapshot of your duties will include:
- Greeting patients, visitors and other customers.
- Liaising with nursing staff to provide accurate information to relatives
- Preparation and maintenance of patient files, including distribution of medical records to third parties
- Providing clerical support to NUM and nursing staf

ABOUT YOU:
You are outstanding in administration or receptionist experience with:
- Highly professional phone manner and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and initiate action
- Well-developed computer skills including accurate data entry skills with good attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of a collaborative team
- Previous experience hospital administration would be desirable.
