About the Role
Our G Pavilion Ward has a great opportunity for a Ward Clerk who is flexible, highly organised and excels in a multi-disciplined team environment to join the team!
The role of the Ward Clerk is to provide quality customer service in the coordination of the administrative functions to the ward. This role will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team utilising effective communication skills with a team focus.
The successful candidate will:
Welcome patients and visitors on the ward
Discharging and transferring patients
Filing and booking appointments
General reception duties

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be highly committed to providing excellent customer services outcomes for all patients, visitors and doctors
Proven organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Previous medical reception/hospital administration experience is desirable.
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $31.49 - $32.84 + superannuation, based on relevant experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
