AddressDelmont Private Hospital is an accredited 88 bed private mental health facility with an extensive Day Program, Outreach and Consulting Suite, which caters for over 35 specialist Doctors dealing with a range of mental health and substance use and addiction disorders.
About The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic mature minded Ward Clerk to join our team part time or casual. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer care and assistance to our patients, provide administrative support to the clinical team, and handle internal and external enquiries in a friendly, professional, approachable, and timely manner.
What we are looking for:
- Customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in providing effective, efficient and confidential clerical and admin support
- Maintain and process accurate patient information and medical records
- Ability to multitask and manage and prioritise a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Flexibility and availability – 12hrs per week (3 days x 4 hrs) with a view to increase hours as per departmental requirements

- Multi task and work in a very fast paced environment.

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously is essential
Renumeration:
- Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and as per the relevant Delmont EA.

Requirements:
- All Delmont Hospital Employees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 (2 x vaccination / 1 booster) and Influenza with a TGA approved vaccine and must provide evidence of their vaccination status. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health’s Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
