- Conduct primary administrative duties, such as assisting managing supply levels of the unit and organising unit stock orders, maintenance of clinical care folders.
- Facilitate ad hoc enquiries from families, external contractors, and other internal and external clientele, in person or over the phone
- Management of unit’s medical records, including filing, archiving, retrieval and compiling of patient records to and from Medical Records, as requested
- Actively engage in document control in the unit ensuring correct and current forms are used by staff
- Assist in organising transportation or referral requests from the unit staff including GP appointments and booking patient transport to and from appointments.
- Participates and record minutes in unit and committee meetings relevant to the role, as requested by the NUM
General daily administration duties, working alongside with care staff and under the direction of NUM - Follow up phone calls to discharged patients
- Collection of data for the purpose of reporting to BHS Committees and benchmarking, quality improvement projects, and legislative compliance.
