We are seeking applications from motivated individuals to join our dedicated Emergency Department - Horsham. This permanent position is available for an immediate start and includes working a rotating 7-day, 24-hour roster, working AM, PM and night shifts as requested. This role involves providing administration & clerical support, including telephone & patient / family enquiries, records management, data collection and entry and related secretarial support.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Proven ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, confidential records.
- Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and iPM.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Certificate III Business Administration
- Previous experience in a health care environment
- An understanding of medical terminology
