The Position
Perioperative Ward Clerk
Department: Perioperative Theatre
Status: Permanent Full Time (Part time job share considered)
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide liaison between other departments and ward staff
- Data entry into other patient information systems and finance systems as outlined in department-specific duty statements
- Stores inventory, ordering and restocking of supplies and prosthetic coding
- Enter staff rosters in Kronos
- Other administrative functions as required
Our team requires someone who has:
- Experience working within a hospital or medical office/health environment
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- High-level self-awareness and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork
- Proven high level of organisational and time management skills in performing multiple tasks and setting priorities
