MULTIVAC Australia is seeking a go-getter Spare Parts Warehouse Assistant to join their Spare Parts team, to be based in Keilor Park, Victoria.
Working closely with the team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved, your main duties of this role includes but not limited to are:
- Perform the daily pick/packing, checks, delivery and invoicing of spare parts with the completion of the necessary documentation within a timely manner
- Ensure no goods leave the dispatch area without the correct paperwork and being processed in SAP
- Safeguarding of all spare parts inventory
- Assist with creating and/or processing stock transport orders for branches and service technicians
- Ensure accurate records are kept and filed to support shipping and proof of delivery requirements
- General warehouse duties – loading & unloading trucks, making local deliveries, cleaning etc.
- Escalate issues with freight (delays, missing or damaged ) to the responsible freight forwarder to investigate
- Arrange international freight including paperwork as required
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and annual stock takes
Relationships and Authority:
This role will report to the National Spare Parts Manager, but will have work priorities set by the Spare Parts Dispatch Team Leader.
There will be interaction with a number of parties including but not limited to Internal Staff (Service Department, Spare Parts Dispatch/Receivables, Spare Parts Procurement Co Coordinator, Spare Parts Stock Controller, Finance, Sales & Management), Suppliers, Freight Forwarders and Logistics companies.
Required Skills:
- Great team player with excellent communication skills;
- Able to problem solve and explore and offer alternative solutions;
- An exceptional attention to detail and a sense of urgency/understanding of customer priorities and expectations; and
- Prior use of online freight booking portals.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in an ERP system such as SAP and MS Outlook, Office etc;
- Current forklift license; and
- Previous experience in picking, packing and logistics.
