Form of workTyremax is a leading tyre wholesaler with national distribution and well-established quality brands. We are in pursuit of an energetic, competent and team-focused Warehouse Assistant to join our team based at our new purpose built Wangaratta branch.
Servicing the regional Victorian market, you will be working in a busy warehouse environment and be a vital part of our growing business. You will need to be well organised with excellent attention to detail, motivated and required to meet and exceed our OH&S requirements. Having daily face-to-face contact with delivery service representatives, you will be a strong team player and offer a high level of customer service.
You will also have effective communication and time management skills, and be willing to learn and update your skills where required.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Being an active and contributing member of the team
- Accurate and timely picking, checking and delivery of goods
- Accurate reporting
- Unloading of incoming stock from delivery vehicles/containers
- Placement and maintenance of incoming stock into designated stock locations
- Processing of returned goods
- Assisting in carrying out of stock-take.

You must hold a current LF forklift licence to be considered for this role. Experience handling large stock items within a warehouse and distribution environment will be highly regarded.
