Store Person/ Warehouse Assistant
About the Role
Prohibition Liquor Co. is looking for a Store Person/ Warehouse Assistant to join our crew. This person will form an integral part of our team, with a hardworking 'can-do' attitude and willingness to get hands-on in all facets of the warehouse. The Warehouse Assistant will primarily bottle, label, pack, and dispatch Prohibition Liquor Co’s product range, along with performing general warehousing duties.
Responsibilities
- Ability to follow directions in the day-to-day cycle of production.
- Accurately fill, label, and pack bottles of craft spirit.
- Be an integral part of the effective execution of daily activities for the warehouse team.
- Assist in maintaining all equipment owned and operated by the company.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for excise, storage, production, and processing of all spirits.
- Follow all workplace and WHS policies and procedures.
- Must be capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and completing repetitive motions. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Willing to be nimble and complete any other task deemed appropriate by the management team.
Qualifications & Selection Requirements
- Suitable experience in production is highly regarded.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are vital to the success of the role.
- Previous warehousing experience desired
- Proven ability to work with little supervision and be able to follow directions precisely.
- Full unrestricted Australian driver's licence.
- Experience in using a forklift, or pedestrian-operated forklift.
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Solutions-focused and self-driven with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- A strong work ethic is very important in this role.

Additional Information
This position is a minimum of 4 days per week casual with scope to obtain permanent employment for the right candidate.
