About the role:
Your responsibilities at Floormaster will include assisting clients in making the correct selection of products for the application they are seeking, point of sale administration and general warehousing to ensure our shelves are full of our great range of products.
Further tasks include:
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the store
- Answer phone enquiries
- Filling and facing shelves and ensuring the store and workspace remains a clean and efficient environment.
- Prepare quotes and orders
- Adhere to administrative requirements
- Manage stock levels to ensure consistency on our shelves and in our system
- Refill shelves with stock from deliveries
- Assist delivery drivers with picking and packing orders
- Complete deliveries when demands are high and complete stock transfers between stores
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Who we are looking for:
You will have a genuine interest in assisting others, with knowledge and experience in the cleaning industry. You will be able to be flexible in your approach to the tasks that you will be doing each day. Your previous experience may include being a cleaner, or in sales of cleaning merchandise. The successful candidate will have the capacity to lift heavy items (e.g. 15-litre drums of chemicals) and adhere to WHS requirements.
What you will need:
- Personal C-class driving license with the ability to operate manual cars and vans.
- Flexible to work across our three store locations (Edwards town, Elizabeth) while being mainly located at our main store in Greenacres.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge base of cleaning and cleaning merchandise.
- It is desirable that you have experience in a warehousing including offloading pallets from transportation, picking, packing, and completing deliveries.
- A forklift license or willingness to obtain one is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Exceptional communication skills
