The Role:
Warehouse Assistant’s required for our Quarantine team at our Lindsay Fresh Logistics division located in the Brisbane Markets, Rocklea.
This is a hands-on physical role. If you are looking to get a foot in the door in the logistics industry this is a great opportunity.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading sea freight containers and airfreight units.
- Assisting in processing orders for export, including picking, packing and palletising of stock.
- Unpacking import consignments and assisting in the stock preparation for quarantine inspections.
- Some forklift/warehouse duties (if licenced).
- General site maintenance & cleaning.
- Potential driving duties as directed (if licenced).
To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse position.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Commitment to working in a safe manner.
- Reliable and dedicated to turning up each day.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
To be successful for this role applicants must:
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
