Warehouse Co-Ordinator / Leading Hand

As the Warehouse Leading Hand reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations.  This includes inventory management, staff supervision and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse.
• Lead, train, and mentor our warehouse team.
• Ensure effective management of all deliveries to our customers.
• Implement effective inventory control and management strategies.
• Manage regular stocktakes, stock rotation and accurate recording of stock.
• Optimise warehouse layout and space management.
• Oversee site maintenance including fork maintenance.
• Proactively manage the OH&S standards within the business.
• Recommend improved operating policies and processes to reflect best practices.
• Support the Operations Manager to develop, train and mentor the warehouse staff in SOP.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across the business.
• Initiative to identify and resolve problems.
• Current forklift and full driver’s licences.

This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 4.00pm.
