BAUER KOMPRESSOREN Australia Pty Ltd, is firmly established as a Global leading manufacturer of High Pressure Compressors and Purification systems, with a reputation for providing excellent customer service.
As a part of the BAUER’s Western Sydney Head Office in Wetherill Park, you will report to the Stores Supervisor / General Manager and carry out daily duties as required. Operating fork lifts and pick packing entries into the Warehouse computer system as this will be a major part of this position and deliver high quality customer service at all times.
We are seeking a candidate with strong initiative, to work with existing staff on making improvements in the warehouse area, to maximize efficiency and maintain a safe work area.
Key Requirements:
• Clean and tidy of appearance at all times
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office suite and company software)
• Dedication, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic
• Warehousing, distribution or factory experience (not afraid to get your hands dirty)
• Quick learner with strong initiative
• Accurate with good attention to detail
• Capable of handling heavy objects (in excess of 15kg)
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Current high risk forklift license with recent experience preferred but not essential
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills are a must
• Professional phone manner and customer relation skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Current driver’s license
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Managing inventory and stock control and assisting with re-stocking.
• Dispatch, receiving & order picking process.
• Regular stock cycle counts
• Safe work place practices
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse
• Building and assembling stock items
• Booking daily freight pick-ups and deliveries.
• Liaise with the store supervisor keeping them up to date with developments in their areas.
