Paull & Warner Group NSW are looking for an experienced Full Time Inventory Controller/Warehouse Operator to assist and support the production line and stores operations.
This position reports to the Production Manager, working closely with the management & accounts team. This role overall ensures timely delivery of all incoming stock, maintaining lean stock levels for the production line & undergoing routine cycle counts. Ideally this candidate will have a pro-active and solution driven approach and will be a key member of the team.
The Role:
- Unpacking and storing incoming stock into the appropriate warehouse location
- Assist in receiving stock and receipting stock into CRM system.
- Manage all cycle counts and stock picking for production line.
- Conducting monthly & annual production cycle counts & stock counts.
- Raise purchase orders based on production requirements.
- Regularly liaise with suppliers to follow up on delivery timeframes, ensuring any delays are reported to Production Managers.
- Working with Accounts Officer to ensure parts have been receipted for smooth monthly reconciliation.
- Maintain high standard of record keeping & filing including but not limited to, cycle count sheets, return of stock or any issues with stock.
- Report on purchasing and stock in weekly team meetings
- Maintain monthly workshop consumable orders.
- Set up stock locations both physically and in system.
- Control of stock replenishments and movements ensuring everything is documented.
- Ensuring inventory is accurately checked and maintained.
- Processing and dispatching warranty items back to supplier
- Must have forklift ticket or willingness to attain a forklift ticket.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehousing role with inventory or stock control experience essential
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies
- Strong experience in warehouse operations & inventory control.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
