With a vision to create luxurious spa-quality, highly efficacious skincare utilising potent Australian botanical actives, without harmful ingredients or commonly used palm oil.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warehouse Coordination:
- Ensure operational tasks within the Warehouse are completed in accordance with established procedures and to the satisfaction of external and internal customers
- Be hands on with manual lifting and moving cartons up to 20kgs
- Unloading pallets, receiving and counting physical stock.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, inventory space and work stations neat and clean.
- Open boxes, crates and other containers as needed
- Maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain inventory control systems to properly manage stock levels and ensure accuracy always.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly full stock audits to maintain accurate inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
- Follow sufficient step by step process of ‘arriving’ bulk deliveries into the warehouse, accurately ‘allocating and storing’ of bulk deliveries in a timely, efficient manner.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate and optimise transportation routes of local bulk shipments to ensure the most timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure wholesale orders are updated with tracking and any other information once order has been dispatched.
- Monitor and track wholesale shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve any issues or delays that might arise with Online Orders that have been dispatched. Weekly checking of Starshipit to ensure all online orders are delivered or in transit, following up on long outstanding not delivered orders.
- Technology and Systems;
- Be sufficient in word and excel program skills.
Utilise warehouse management systems (Zoho One inventory) - Continuous Improvement;
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Product presentation and Quality control;
- Online Order Processing: Online orders will be processed and dispatched daily; it is of utmost importance that the strict guidelines for parcel packing are followed. Anything that leaves the warehouse to be sent out to any customer needs to be treated with time and care.
- General and Day to Day;
- Responsible for booking couriers for the team when required
- Responsible for any deliveries or pick-ups that need to be made.
- Daily online order Pick, Pack and processing, ensuring presentation, accuracy and time management is top of mind.
- Daily Wholesale Order Pick, Pack and processing, ensuring presentation, accuracy and time management is top of mind.
- Keep on top of packaging stock levels. Ensure enough time is kept for reordering of any branded packaging.
- Ensure Head Office, Reception and Warehouse all areas are clean, tidy and well maintained to a premium standard that reflects our premium brand.
- Weekly cleaning of head office and warehouse, ensure all bins are emptied and taken to kerbside and pick up on bin collection days
- Other duties as directed by Operations Manager.
- Qualification and Requirements;
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics, with a focus on process optimisation.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, flexibility and adaptability to change, time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Be self-driven, energetic and motivated
- Be mature, honest and trustworthy
- Need to have own transport
