Warehouse Coordinator

A growing Australian owned manufacturer is looking for a keen and energetic Warehouse Coordinator to assist in our Refractory operations in Blacktown (NSW). This is a world class manufacturing site and a great opportunity to be part of a winning team.

To be successful in this role, it is preferred that you are/have:

• Maintain our Zero harm culture by ensuring a safe workplace through awareness and implementation of safe work practices, supervision and adhering to WH&S requirements as they relate to warehouse operations
• Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and ensuring policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
•  Plan and manage deliveries and product movements to best utilise trucks and minimise freight costs to the business
• Managing and overseeing cycle counts, stock take, inventory control processes and satisfactorily investigate stock ups and downs
• Manage open PO Report daily to ensure goods arrive on time, when necessary, liaise with local suppliers to follow up outstanding orders and advise Purchasing & Inventory officer of any delayed shipments so they can be expedited.
• Inwards goods quality checking per Inwards Goods Inspection Instructions and accurately receipt into ERP System.
• Outgoing goods quantity and quality checking prior to despatch. 
• Management and liaising with customers related to freight and on time delivery enquiries
• Ensuring compliance to COR and WHS related to warehouse activities
•  Foster and implement a culture of continuous improvement to identify and eliminate wasteful processes and behaviours. Initiate, develop and implement projects to achieve this.
• Traffic management around warehouse operations
• Manage productivity of drivers both internal & external to Antec.
• Maintain a strong customer focus within the team at all times
• Able to maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• An effective communicator
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude

A Forklift License and experience is essential (counterbalance and high reach).

Minimum 5 years' of experience Warehouse management or operations
