About the role
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and the Sales & Marketing Team this role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Nookie warehouse, overseeing the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of items.
This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient use of our supply chain operations and supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers on time.
Key Accountabilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock records. Conduct regular inventory audits and coordinate stock adjustments as necessary.
- Receiving and Processing: Oversee the receiving process for all incoming shipments, ensuring items are correctly logged, inspected for quality, and stored efficiently. Process returns and exchanges in a timely manner.
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of orders. Ensure that orders are processed accurately and dispatched on schedule to meet customer delivery expectations.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and transport companies to resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain.
- Warehouse Organisation: Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, optimising space utilisation and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Reporting: Generate and present regular reports as requested from Warehouse Manager and Sales & Marketing teams on inventory levels, order fulfillment accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
About you
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in the apparel industry.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and supply chain operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
