Mount Owen Glendell Operations (MGO) Mine located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, 20 kilometres North of Singleton, contains the Mt Owen and Glendell open cut mines. The integration of these operations enables all sites to use a single coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) and infrastructure at Mt Owen Mine.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Supply Coordinator at MGO. Reporting to Supply Superintendent and working a Monday to Friday dayshift roster, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse personnel.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Training, coaching, and mentoring warehouse associates to maintain high performance standards and adherence to safety protocols
- Monitoring inventory levels and implementing strategies to minimise stockouts and excess inventory
- Coordinating with internal teams, including Production and Maintenance, to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Analysing supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and supplier performance
The requirements for success in this role include:
- Previous experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or other related qualifications (e.g. CIPS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (SAP desirable)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
