Purpose of the position
The Cyanergy group (Cyanergy, Solar Emporium and Smart Lifestyle Australia) is an ISO 9001 accredited business looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to manage one of its Warehouses in New South Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing of incoming/outgoing stock and materials, allocating stock to different installers, conducting frequent stocktake with installers to keep track of unused inventory while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Cyanergy is an Australian owned and operated business with over 10+ years experience in the renewable and energy efficiency space. We have built a unique solution and service offering from the ground up.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse.
As Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Allocating inventory to installers as per installation forecast.
- Documenting the acknowledgement of both parties for all stock change / stock consignment.
- Filing hard copy and uploading a soft copy of the stock consignment for each stock change.
- Conducting reconciliation of stock every week and reporting to supervisor.
- Sorting, organizing, and storing inventory/stock in the proper location in the warehouse.
- Operating heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
- Maintaining the warehouse in a tidy state and clearing away packing material and debris.
- Ensuring workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles.
- Arranging physical stocktake with every installer/party.
- Reporting to Supervisor on faulty stock to take further action on warranty claims.
- Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
- Managing, reporting and disposing of product.
- Completing any ad hoc tasks/duties assigned by the Supervisor.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- 1+ years previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
- Experienced with the MS Office suite and previous inventory software experience.
- Good communication skill with the ability to build rapport with internal and external customers.
- Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory.
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently.
- Physically able to lift to 50 pounds or more.
- Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as directed by the organization and under relevant NSW legislation.
- Diploma/Highschool degree or equivalent
- Certificate II & III in Warehousing Operations (Desirable)
- Current Australian Driver License (Mandatory)
- Valid License to operate a Forklift (Mandatory)
- License to drive a Truck (Desirable)
- Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia
The successful candidate will need to undergo a Medical Exam and a Police records check prior to commencement.
