The Role
The Book House is looking for a motivated team member to join our warehouse team packing materials for dispatch to clients and other Book House locations.
This role will at times also involve helping to receive materials (mostly books), allocating stock to the correct clients and locations, reconciling stock against supplier invoices and against customer orders.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being physically active and has high attention to detail.
Skills and attributes:
- Competency with Microsoft Excel and general computer knowledge
- Forklift / walkie-stacker experience
- Able to carry and move boxes and tubs of books
- Attention to detail while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Retention of information for a variety of clients
- Enjoy working with your hands
- Disciplined and well organised
- Able to work to exact specifications
- Comfortable following directions
- Good time management, and
- Able to work well in a team
