In line with our continuing growth, we are expanding our operational bases from the heart of Warrnambool to now also include a modern distribution hub in Nundah, Brisbane. To support this expansion, we're on the lookout for a Warehouse &Logistics Administrator to coordinate our consumables logistics in/out from our Brisbane operations.

The Role
The Warehouse &Logistics Administrator (Consumables) is responsible for the timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders, including the booking of relevant freight and logistics, picking, packing and loading of orders.
The role is also responsible for co-ordination of the warehouse storage of consumables and other componentry (as applicable) to ensure a safe, orderly warehouse of product is maintained.
Supporting the Sales and Logistics teams in coordinating sales & supply chain activities for the consumables market is core to this position, as is ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service through accurate and fast processing of customer requests from the initial stages of an order, through to the final destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely processing of customer orders, including invoicing, pick lists, customer labels for delivery / despatch and processing payments.
- Coordinating and liaising with freight providers for transit of customer orders
- Accurate and efficient picking and packing items and orders for dispatch
- Processing inbound and outbound shipments (Checking, sorting, loading and unloading goods), processing manifests and dispatch paperwork
- Confidently handling customer enquiries, ensuring phone calls are answered promptly and with urgency in a professional, courteous, friendly manner.
- Providing high quality customer service to provide timely information regarding order status and ETAs, and resolve freight and delivery related issues or delays
- Managing customer expectations throughout the ordering and invoicing process, and communicate constantly through to the final delivery, ensuring products are processed accurately and delivered as ordered
- Proactive monitoring of stock levels and completing stock takes of consumables and other general office goods to ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained at all times
- Liaising with staff (including Victorian team) to manage appropriate stock levels and coordinate stock movement as required
- Cleaning and Maintenance of onsite DIY dog wash, laundry and Bike wash units
- Adhering to safe work methods and ensuring products are stored correctly and safely
- Safe forklift operation with high level proficiency
The Person
Experience and Competencies:
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be flexible and multi-task
- High level competence in forklift operation
- Proven experience working within a dispatch / warehousing environment
- Experience utilising relevant warehouse equipment
- High level computer skills for stock management, order tracking, freight and logistics, and general customer service and invoice query management
- Excellent Communication skills for liaising with internal and external customers
- Capacity to work independently, often geographically separated from broader team
- Whilst not essential – mechanical aptitude would be highly regarded
- Understanding of safe work practices, COR and heavy vehicle compliance standards and regulations an advantage

Qualifications and Licences
- Forklift Licence (Essential)
- Current, valid Driver’s Licence (Essential)
- Medium and/or Heavy Vehicle Licence (Desirable)
