Extrastaff is seeking to place a Export and Contract Administrator with a state of the art food processing facility located in the Brisbane Valley. In 1997 the facility was originally established as a specialty, purpose built beef patty manufacturer, servicing major quick service restaurants in Australia.
Start / Finish times - Monday to Friday - Work Between 07:00 a.m. - 07: 00 p.m.
Type of Work - 3 -6 months possibility of extending.
Position Overview:
The Export and Contract Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of export operations and managing contractual agreements within the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage contracts with suppliers, and distributors, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.
- Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for exporting goods, including but not limited to commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and export permits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Tyson policies, export laws and regulations, including trade restrictions, customs requirements, and international shipping regulations
- Coordinate order processing and shipment schedules to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions, contracts, and correspondence for auditing and compliance purposes.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in export operations and contract administration, preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
- A deep understanding of international trade regulations & processes.
- Strong understanding of export regulations and compliance requirements, including knowledge of Incoterms
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced working with export management software and ERP systems preferably SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
