About the Role:

This newly created role will be working on our Snowy 2.0 site near Cooma NSW.  The Warehouse & Logistics Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of ordering, warehousing, storage and distribution of explosive products and materials, including loading/unloading and transporting emulsion pods to mine sites. 

The role will operate on a 14 on 14 off roster and will include all camp accommodation and meals whilst on shift.

Preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of the site.

What you will be doing:

• Receiving and receipting deliveries of raw materials and finished products;
• Maintaining stock levels including ordering of raw materials for site;
• Operating all fixed and mobile plant machinery used to mix, package and distribute our products.

What you will bring:

• Firstly and most importantly, you share our core value of ‘Safety is our priority, Always’;
• Current HRWL Forklift and HR Licence  is essential;
• Previous experience in a dangerous goods environment in transport, warehousing and operating plant and equipment would be highly regarded;
• A current Dangerous Goods Licence would be highly regarded – or the ability to obtain one  i.e. clean police record;
• Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft Office is essential and experience using SAP would be highly regarded;
• Experience with stock inventory would be highly regarded;
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
