Qualifications & experience
- Candidates will have 2+ years' experience in a bid, tender, proposal or submission writing and/or coordination role
- Alternatively, candidates will have 4+ years' experience in a writing or administrative role with highly transferable skills
- A proven ability to communicate and engage effectively across a team is a must. As are organisational skills and honed attention to detail.
- And most of all you must bring exceptional writing and editing skills to the role with the ability to draft from scratch, interview and to create from existing material.
- Word formatting skills are required. InDesign skills are a plus.
- A tertiary qualification in marketing & communications, creative writing or journalism is desirable but not necessary.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Writing compelling and persuasive tender responses with technical input from subject matter experts across disciplines and industries
- Coordinating inputs into tenders to ensure compliance with requirements
- Coordinating drafting and review processes to ensure quality outcomes
- Communicating proactively with all bid team members to support their efforts and assist them to understand their role and inputs into tenders
- Liaising with the graphic designer to develop supporting visual elements for the tender
- Creating Word templates for tenders and formatting them throughout the tender
