The opportunity:
We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our Warehouse team and play a pivotal role in our wider Operations department.
Below is a list of the main functions of the role.
Warehouse Management:
- Support the maintenance of Warehouse Management System AP21.
- Ensure effective and accurate receipt of all goods into the warehouse.
- Ensure all goods are dispatched effectively and efficiently.
- Oversee the management and dispatch of wholesale, retail & eCommerce orders .
- Proactively develop improvements in stock flow and receipts for both local and imported stock.
- Oversee the management of return stock.
- Implement and oversee system for goods storage and location so orders are picked quickly, efficiently, and accurately, ensuring all data is accurate and producing weekly activity and stock reports to the Head of Operations.
People Management:
- Line Management responsibility for Warehouse Lead hands.
- Oversee the performance management of all warehouse and logistics staff.
- Proactively monitor seasonal trends to ensure optimal staffing at all times.
- Ensure company standards and values are upheld by all staff.
- Ensure all staff complete training as required and abide by all OH&S standards.
- Ensure all warehouse and transport equipment is regularly serviced or maintained including warehouse, truck, van, forklift, racking, tools, and other equipment.
Who you are:
- Excellent verbal & people management skills.
- 3+ years in retail warehouse management, or a similar field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team, with strong communication and manage competing priorities.
- Readily available, flexible, reliable and have sound judgement.
