Job Description:
As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including order processing, pick and pack, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. You will lead a team of warehouse staff and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels and conduct regular stocktake.
- Organise warehouse layout and storage systems to optimise space utilisation and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Forklift license and other relevant certifications preferred.
