A day in a life of a warehouse assistant looks like;
- Picking and packing of materials
- Completion of paperwork on a daily basis
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Customer service
To be successful for this role, the following criteria must be met.
- You must have experience as a forklift operator (Current forklift license required)
- Current drivers license
- Rigging experience is desirable, however, not essential
- Warehouse experience is essential, preferably in heavy industry.
- Experience working on a mine site is highly regarded, not essential
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Clear police check is required
- Able to work early mornings
- Reliable, punctual
- Safety awareness
