Position Overview: 

As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal leadership role in overseeing the efficient and effective functioning of our Warehouse Operations.

Reporting directly to an experienced and well-regarded Operations Manager, you will serve as a vital link between the manufacturing and production side of the business, ensuring seamless coordination and communication. 

Naturally disciplined, organised and safety oriented, you will manage all warehouse activities including the daily assembly of bolt patterns, cutting cables, and sewing netting together.  As well as coordinating dispatch, deliveries and freight with customers, staff, and suppliers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day Warehouse Operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, measuring, cutting and producing orders.
• Lead and motivate the Warehouse Operations Hand, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment and achieve performance goals.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the warehouse, promoting a consistently safe and hygienic working environment.
• Optimise warehouse layout and workflows to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to develop and implement efficient workflows and processes that optimise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries, providing timely and professional responses to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Responsible for the precise labelling of all stock in the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular stock audits to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demands.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitoring inventory levels and negotiating favourable terms to optimise procurement processes.
• Utilise project management software to track and monitor warehouse activities, prioritize tasks, and generate reports for management review.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

• Forklift Licence
• Manual Drivers licence
• Proficiency in computer systems and project management software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Proven experience in Warehouse Operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and suppliers.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of driving performance improvements.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
