YOUR ROLE
As the Operations Supervisor for our warehouse at Cranbourne West VIC, you'll lead, direct and take responsibility for operational activities in a safe and efficient manner inclusive of statutory requirements, service delivery, operational efficiency and cost control.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Manage all operations activities to ensure they are completed within expected timeframes in a safe and secure manner
- Monitor all inventory control processes and systems in line with Ceva policies
- Oversee the safe, efficient and compliant day-to-day operations of the site
- Lead and/or contribute to talent acquisition and development activities including recruiting, labour hire engagement, performance management, coaching, etc.
- Support the site to meet or exceed targets for: safety and environment, warehouse KPIs and related activities, Kaizen, LEAN, service delivery, profit and loss
- Develop and foster a healthy culture around safety, operational and service excellence, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate has experience in supervising / managing 3PL Warehouse Operations in any industry OR is ready to step-up to this level.
You should also have:
- Experience and/or capability to coach, develop and engage an operational team
- Good written and verbal communication, customer service / management, and influencing / negotiation skills
- Problem solving capability, commercial acumen and numeracy skills
- Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making and organisation skills.
- Basic-intermediate experience in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems, software and technologies
- Bonus: knowledge and/or applied understanding of enterprise agreements.
