We are on the lookout for a motivated and skilled Warehouse Operator who is the key to our day-to-day operations, ensuring that our products transition seamlessly from arrival to dispatch. This role is vital for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse, making sure every item is handled with care and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving: Your day begins with unloading products delivered to our warehouse. You will unpack, check, sort and store goods with attention to detail, ensuring everything is accounted for and in perfect condition.
Picking: Utilize a picking slip to accurately select products from our vast stock. Your role is critical in ensuring that the right product reaches the right customer every time.
Packing: With a professional touch, pack orders using our scan pack system. Your packing skills ensure products are secured and ready for their journey to customers.
Dispatch: Coordinate with external freight services to prepare orders for dispatch. This includes placing orders in the correct location and handling all necessary paperwork accurately.
Organizing: Play an integral role in organizing our stock, ensuring that everything is in its right place, making for efficient operations.
Additional Duties: The role extends to performing stock checks, handling receptions when necessary, preparing items for decoration, and undertaking maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep our warehouse in top condition.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid forklift license.
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a can-do attitude.
