SalaryOur client, located in Eastgardens, has been in the food business for over 35 years. They are currently seeking experienced Food Production Workers to join the manufacturing, process & packing lines on a rotating roster.
About the roles
As part of this role, you will be required to work on a rotating roster where you will be required to work 2 weeks Day Shift, then 2 weeks Afternoon Shift and then 2 weeks Night Shift.
- Day Shift, Monday to Friday - $32.73 per hour ordinary time
- Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday - $37.64 per hour ordinary time
- Night shift, Monday to Friday - $42.55 per hour ordinary time
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Machine Operation involving set up, loading of raw material and safe operation of packaging and labelling
- Production
- Counterbalance Forklift Operation
- Working in Cold Storage Environment
- Batching Product as per Production schedule, meeting all Quality Specifications and reporting immediately any Out of Spec Materials or Batches.
- Clear communication and regular contact with Supervisor/production and warehouse to ensure production runs smoothly
- General housekeeping & sanitation of equipment

What we are looking for:
- Production / Packaging Machine Operating experience
- Current Forklift licence with counterbalance experience
- Batching, Labeling & Palletising experience
- Cold Storage experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the FMCG industry.
- Understanding of food safety and GMP processes.
- Basic to Intermediate computer skills with experience in Excel & Outlook
