Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Warehouse Store Personto join the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program. The Warehouse Store Person will have in-depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of warehousing and distribution in support of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team, this will involve receipt, dispatch and related warehousing and distribution support activities. Successful applicants will have knowledge of all aspects of material management, warehousing, booking freight, use of plant and manual handling equipment and using all inventory management systems.
As a Warehouse Store Personwithin BDA you will;
- Manage inventory to ensure appropriate levels of accountability and traceability.
- Raising inventory requisitions for the request of inventory spares.
- Manage Goods Inwards.
- Responsible for Goods Receipt to ensure all items meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage non-conforming product.
- Be responsible for the segregation, documentation and management of the Quarantine store.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory in the Inventory management System (IMS) - accountable for cataloguing new inventory, tracking existing inventory, maintaining quality documentation and disposition of assets.
- Be responsible for Shelf Life management.
- Deliver against the Program strategic objectives.
- Deliver on commitments and plan to succeed.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in supply support roles and functions.
- Demonstrated experience with computerised inventory management systems and methodologies.
- A satisfactory level of physical fitness, required to perform certain levels of manual tasking.
- Forklift Operators license preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements, and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline level security clearance.
