Position Description:
This role sits within the Warehouse Day Team of which they are a team of 5. You will be required to receive inwards goods and replenish pick shelves on a daily basis. The Storeperson is also responsible for the accurate and timely pick of customer orders. The position will provide assistance to the Warehouse Manager.
How you will spend your day:
• Day shift work, Monday to Friday (hours either are 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm - you choose).
• Daily use of Forklift (Reach) to perform warehouse duties.
• Place incoming goods into holding bays/ into correct zones Ambient, Chiller & Freezer (minus 20 degrees)
• Pick and pack goods for outward deliveries across all three zones Ambient, Chiller & Freezer (minus 20 degrees)
• Receive and check inwards goods against delivery invoices and delivery dockets
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced team environment and with general supervision exercising initiative, judgement and enthusiasm.
• Liaise with and support staff, sales reps and Warehouse Manager
• Perform lifting up to 25kg
Skills Needed:
Previous experience working in a warehouse and using a forklift with Reach capacity on a daily basis a must. On the job training will of course be provided to you and you will be extremely supported in learning the ways we like to do things here at Sealane. You will need however, to be a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and love being part of a team.
Mandatory:
- MUST HAVE REACH FORKLIFT LICENSE and EXPERIENCE MIN 1+ YEARS
- MUST HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS
