MRT is a family-owned leading manufacturer of Aluminium Ute Toolboxes, trays and After Market Accessories with branches throughout Australia.
The team is quickly growing within our warehouse distribution centre; and we are now looking for a Warehouse Stores person with specific responsibility for our Inventory. This person will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Accurately receive, store, and distribute products within the warehouse
- Unloading containers / trucks and Forklift driving
- Pick/pack/prepare stock for customers and workshop
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse space
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with OH&S policies and procedures, and safe working practices
Inventory Controller
- Perform regular stock checks and participate in inventory audits
- Ensure proper and timely replenishment of fast-moving stocks in the warehouse.
- Undertake stock level monitoring activities regularly to ensure slow moving stock rotated.
- Identify process deficiencies and formulate & implement improvements
- Assist in the implementation of best practices to optimize warehouse processes
How to succeed in this role
- Similar warehouse / inventory experience
- Current Drivers licence & Forklift licence. (LO preferred)
- Ability to switch between computer-based reporting and on floor manual tasks
- Good Computer skills.
- Good Communication Skills.
- High attention to detail for managing inventory, customer & purchasing
