Warehouse Supervisor

An exciting business with a focus on first class innovation, service and quality, Daily Chef is a newly established FMCG company, specialising in the preparation and processing of high-quality Chilled Convenience Meals under well-known local and national brands. Daily Chef operates from a large modern production site based in Forrestdale, Perth Western Australia.
We have an exiting opportunity for experienced Warehouse Supervisor who is enthusiastic and reliable to join our experienced team and help build the business.

About the Role

• Running the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse
• Coordinate receivables and despatch of multiple loads including all documentation and record keeping.
• Maintain accurate stock control levels for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Packaging and Pallets and undertake stocktakes and cycle counting as required.
• Ensure stock accuracy of raw materials and liaise directly with key internal stakeholders daily to ensure production schedule is met.
• Ensure stock record keeping meets quality assurance standards.
• Monitor Stock Rotations within the Chillers to minimise waste.
• Manage the warehouse team members to ensure high levels of productivity.
• Identify training needs of team members and deliver training to meet position expectations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal customers and clients.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and provide a safe working environment by ensuring OH&S policies and procedures are met.
• Implementing new systems and processes as and when directed

Partake in the recruitment and training process for new employees.

About You

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role
• Holds a current forklift license
• Experience with Food, labelling and documentation control desirable but not essential.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices 
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives 
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Displays the ability to make critical decision and problem solving skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong internal and external customer focus
• Confident, mature and professional attitude with a creative approach to problem solving
• Ability to cope with changing work demands and a fast changing environment
• Reliable, committed, trustworthy and flexibility
