The Role
As the Broker Business Development Manager (BDM), will focus on acquiring and maintaining new/existing customers by increasing existing clientele and acquiring new business through affiliated network channels both within NAB and externally.
Using your Business Development and relationship management skills, you will ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses, communicating effectively, making timely decisions, utilising your strong commercial acumen, and driving innovation.
The purpose of your role:
- Identify new business and referral opportunities in addition to establishing, developing and utilising networks of internal and external contacts to achieve volume growth;
- Deliver on growth targets and new business lending drawdowns;
- Promote tailored Bank products and services Identify business improvement opportunities;
- Manage the profitability and credit risk of new business acquired, monitoring, and identifying potential risk and trends.
About you
- Demonstrated track record of quickly establishing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally with proven sales results.
- An understanding and/or passion for Banking and Financials services and the offerings of products
- Problem solving, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise time effectively to meet business targets.
- Strong and resilient mindset
- A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk.
- Business related degree and/or post-graduate professional qualification is preferred.
