The Position
The position of Warehouse Supervisor covers the following duties and responsibilities:
- Leadership of 12-15 warehouse workers, including working with the team in the warehouse at times assisting them with picking packing, stock takes and other warehouse duties.
- Arranging freight including the weighing and measuring of shipments.
- Leadership of 1-2 stock loads going out to branched every week.
- Leadership of receiving, unloading and separating parts for inspections.
- Working with warehouse ERP system and liaising with other departments.
- Ensuring the team are on-the-job and getting through the tasks on schedule.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working within a warehouse leadership position, heavy equipment or parts experience highly regarded but not essential. Qualifications highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience working with warehouse management and freight systems.
- High attention to detail with the ability to notice any potential issues and act accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Excellent Leadership skills with the ability and drive to lead by example and set the pace for the warehouse team.
- Drivers License.
