Come and be a part of this success. About the Role Our Warehousing Inventory and Logistics team are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join a technically motivated and results driven team. Reporting into the Superintendent Warehouse, your role will be to oversee and deliver the safe and effective operations of an onsite warehouse. Whilst the safety of the work environment and the safety of your peers are absolutely paramount, there is a required focus of your day to day, to serve our customers across the asset efficiently to ensure delivery against performance targets, safety targets and warehousing best practices. BHP Warehouses and other departments are undergoing constant evolution whilst striving to achieve world class outcomes, candidates that are fully prepared to engage positively in the implementation, evaluation and improvement of necessary business practices will be most suitable to this role. Your duties will include: Field Leadership - conducting relevant inspections and safety engagement with a team spread across the geographical area of the Olympic Dam Surface and Mining operations Team Leader - responsible for the safety, wellbeing, resource coverage for a medium sized team of people Exceptional Performance - Interpreting data, improving Supply chain outcomes to deliver to target, in line with relevant KPIs. Execution of operational deliverables as per Warehouse Procedure, GLD and other relevant documents Conducting scheduled CCO's (for Material Risk) and PTCs (for adherence to Process, Standards and WINs) Supervisor Inspections (Daily, weekly and adhoc) Identifying at risk or faulty equipment, working with contracts to obtain quotes as well as creating Notifications and Work Order (WO) Management Ensuring all MHE (forklifts, delivery vehicles) are available and safe for operation. Ensuring Warehouse(s) and Yard(s) are kept to a high standard EMS (Event Management System via Fiori) - ensure data is collected within require time frames, reporting accuracy is achieved. Action Management via various forums (EMS, FLEX, KaiNexus) Routine Monitoring - ensure relevant Performance metrics are visualized and monitored via MOP. Delegations and Workflow approvals MyBos - Conducting Role Confirmations (RC) New Starter Program, BHP onboarding, sourcing Contract labour Adding & Removing Persons to the Org Chart Management of Leave (Annual and Sick leave) as well as Camp & Accommodation Raising a HR Case, HR Case Management Managing people movements, Fatigue & Overtime People Recognition, use of Big Thanks (Program) Ethics Point, Performance management, absenteeism management, conducting quarterly 1:1, maintaining records of conversation within relevant People Systems PR, PO generation, through to SES Approvals Stocktake Management - creating stocktakes, investigation of variances and reporting inline with Yearly requirement Event Response and Management Proof of Delivery Scanning, achieving relevant KPIs QM's (Quality Management Notifications) - are created by your team and are actively monitored until close out is achieved About You Supply Chain Professional, all Supply disciplines from all industries are encouraged to apply (Mining experience not essential); Team-oriented attitude with a continuous drive to improve to reach great outcomes; An uncompromising commitment to Safety; Strong written and verbal communication. Internal and External stakeholder engagement essential; Fostering a culture that promotes teamwork and an environment that your team will grow; A strong desire to lead continuous improvement initiatives; An understanding of Lean Methodologies and how to get the best out of your environment (highly regarded); Ability to obtain Forklift license and supervise forklift operations SAP Knowledge would be advantageous Certificate III in Warehousing and Distribution or Certificate III or IV in Transport and Logistics would be advantageous. You will be a performance and achievement oriented professional, who is motivated by exceeding expectations and able to use your relationship building and negotiation skills in order to influence others. Your proven ability to motivate and manage a team is essential to your success in this role. Proven leadership Experience in a Supply Chain role is essential.
