National Surgical Corporation is seeking a dedicated, reliable, motivated and experienced Payroll / Accounts Payable Officer to join the Perth Office.

About the role
The Payroll / Accounts Payable Officer's position reports to the Financial Controller. The role covers all aspects of payroll and Accounts Payable and also includes assisting with various other administration, human resources and accounting functions of the organisation.
To be successful, you will need a proven bookkeeping or accounts background, clear and concise communication skills and attention to detail, and a good working knowledge of excel, word and outlook. Exposure to the Attaché business management system would also be desirable but not essential. The roles main focus will be in the following tasks:-
- All aspects of Payroll including One Touch payroll reporting and processing of fortnightly pays
- Complete Accounts Payable function which will include input of invoices through to payment and preparation of forecast cash requirements schedules
- Processing of petty cash, travel and miscellaneous expense reimbursement claims
- Management of all employee personnel files including compliance with various awards and all leave entitlements
- Maintenance of Superannuation, Payroll and PAYG Tax as well as Workers Comp insurance requirements
- Completion of periodic expense schedules for management reviews.
A strong track record in Accounts Payable and Payroll (3 years+) and a Diploma in Business from TAFE or other institution is required for this role. An ability to work unsupervised, good interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a team would will be highly regarded.
